Hello! I’m Lauren, a 28-year-old artist living in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with my wonderful partner and my two beautiful (very big!) babies. In 2024, I graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree, specialising in hyper-realistic sculpting, mould making, and silicone painting. My passion and expertise lie in creating high-definition silicone prosthetics, props, and tattoo transfers with great attention to detail and realism. I've had the privilege of applying my skills as a make-up artist on a range of television and film productions for major broadcasting companies, and training programmes for the emergency services. I founded Babies by Lauren during my final year at university. My dissertation explored the psychological and emotional responses to hyper-realistic art dolls, a subject that deeply moved me and sparked a powerful desire to create expressionistic babies that can offer comfort, healing, and connection. While I’m not a collector myself, I’m in awe of the artistry, the technical skill, and the emotional resonance these art dolls bring. This journey is one of constant learning and discovery. I’m incredibly excited to keep growing, improving, sharing, and connecting with this amazing community.
